Modern Slavery Policy

Introduction
Develop Consulting is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its business activities and ensuring that its supply chains are free from such practices. This policy outlines our commitment to ethical business practices and the steps we take to prevent modern slavery.

Our Business
Develop Consulting is a management consultancy firm with around 30 full-time employees. We work directly with a number of individual contractors and do not have a traditional supply chain to monitor for modern slavery activities.

Our Commitment
Develop Consulting is committed to:

• Ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place within our business or among our contractors.
• Complying with all relevant legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
• Promoting awareness of modern slavery issues among our employees and contractors.

Our Policies and Procedures
To support our commitment, we have implemented the following policies and procedures:

• Recruitment and Employment Practices: We ensure that our recruitment processes are transparent and fair. We conduct thorough background checks on all employees and contractors to ensure they are legally entitled to work in the UK.
• Training and Awareness: We provide training to our employees and contractors on modern slavery and human trafficking, ensuring
they understand the signs and risks associated with these practices.
• Reporting and Whistleblowing: We encourage employees and contractors to report any concerns related to modern slavery.

We have a whistleblowing policy in place to protect those who raise concerns in good faith.

Due Diligence
Although we do not have a supply chain to monitor, we conduct due diligence on our contractors to ensure they comply with our modern slavery policy. This includes:

• Verifying the identity and legal status of contractors.
• Ensuring contractors are aware of and comply with our modern slavery policy.

Review and Monitoring
We regularly review and update our modern slavery policy to ensure it remains effective and relevant. We monitor our practices and procedures to identify and address any potential risks related to modern slavery.

Conclusion
Develop Consulting is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We will continue to work towards preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and among our contractors.
