The consultancy, which employs staff that supported the creation and development of national programmes such as ‘Productive Ward’ and the wider Productive Series, have been supporting front line operational improvements with Primary Care across the UK in recent times. Due to their expertise in this field, Sajid Khan was asked to share his knowledge and experience of supporting primary care along with the NHSE Primary Care Transformation team.
Sajid Khan, the National Delivery Lead for Develop Consulting will be speaking alongside Nicky Durrant, Development Advisor at NHS England in the session, titled ‘Accelerate: Quality Improvement in Challenging Times’.
The session will share learning, insights and outputs from over 500 practices who have participated in the NHS England’s ‘Accelerate’ support over the last two years.
Attendees at the session will be able to hear from some of the most experienced quality improvement and digital transformation facilitators around inspiring practice and primary care leads who’ve led change locally, often in areas with greatest health need and significant deprivation. During the session a practice with real life experience of having been through the programme will also provide insight of their experience and learning.
Mr Khan said: “I was really honoured to be asked to speak at the show, which is the UK’s national event for general practice, and is going to be a great forum for us to share our learning from the past few years with general practices. This is the first time we have been part of the sessions, although we have attended the event for many years. It will be an opportunity for us to speak directly to the practices about the work that we do and our capabilities in bringing positive change to teams on a daily basis.”
The session will be held at the Best Practice London 2023 at the Kensington Olympia on Thursday, March 9 at the Best Practice Workshop Theatre between 12.45pm and 1.30pm.
The Best Practice London 2023 will take place over two days where it will showcase the latest solutions on issues affecting GPs, practice managers, and business development managers.
This will be the first time The Best Practice Show will be held in the capital, and it brings together over 4,000 senior decision-makers and key influencers working with practices. It will take place over two days, Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9.
